In the heart of Brașov, Basarabia în Bucate brings together the recipes we grew up with, Moldovan wines and a way of dining where time is measured in stories, shared plates and one more glass poured before you leave.
Food has always been one of the loveliest ways for us to keep our connection with Basarabia. Our restaurant in Brașov grew naturally around the recipes we know, love and want to carry forward.
Our menu includes dishes with Moldovan roots, from the pies our guests have come to know to dishes that call for patience in the kitchen, desserts made from treasured family recipes and wines selected from Moldovan wineries. Each has its place, and together they create the Basarabian flavour we hope you recognise every time you return.

Our wine cellar, terrace and dining room each have their own atmosphere, joined by the same rich flavours from our kitchen. Just steps from Council Square, the restaurant stays close to the bustle of the old town while keeping the pace of a leisurely, peaceful evening.
